Download KidiPass

Two things, and only one of them is an install: the app lives on your child's device, and you run everything from your browser.

Your child's device

The KidiPass app from Google Play

Install it only on your child's phone or tablet. From then on, YouTube, games and the apps you chose open after a short lesson.

Requires Android 8.0 or newer. The download is free.

Scan from your child's device

Your device

The parent area — in a browser, no install

Open kidipass.com from any phone or computer: set how many minutes are earned, choose which apps sit behind the gate, and see exactly what was learned. Four tabs: Today, Learning, Settings and Help.

Works in any browser — iPhone, Android or desktop.

Create a free parent account

There is no iPhone or iPad version

The kid app is Android only. If your child's device is an iPhone or an iPad, KidiPass cannot guard it. The parent area, on the other hand, works perfectly from an iPhone — you can manage your child's Android device from it.

What happens after the install

  1. 1

Pick "my child's device" and enter the code

The 6-character pairing code appears in the parent area, together with a QR code. It is valid for 24 hours.

  2. 2

    Grant the two essential permissions

App usage and display over other apps. The app opens the right settings screen for you and brings you back.

  3. 3

You can skip them — then it's learning without earned minutes

Skipping the permissions leaves all the learning in place, with no blocking and no minutes. Protection can be turned on later from the parent area on the device.

  4. 4

On Xiaomi and Samsung, add the battery exemption

Xiaomi (MIUI) and Samsung close background apps. Two optional permissions — accessibility and battery — keep the protection alive. The help pages show exactly where.

Want a step-by-step guide?

The help pages have screen-by-screen instructions, including what to do on Xiaomi and Samsung and what to do if protection switches off.

And yes — the app can be uninstalled

KidiPass is not a war app. We do not block uninstalls — if your child removes the app, you get a notification and an email. The agreement is between you and your child, not between your child and the device.
